Educating for Impact: Immigration Reform for ELL Families
Wednesday, May 21, 2014
MELLFIN Officers and Planning Committee are deeply grateful for the turnout at the 10th Annual Conference. This would have not been possible without the support of our growing membership network. It is our goal that everyone enjoyed the sessions and were helpful in the daily efforts of supporting ELL families across Maryland.
A special thanks to John White, Chief of Staff for Maryland State Department of Education for poignant opening remarks and to Dr. Alfredo Quiñones-Hinojosa, for an inspiring keynote speech. Dr. Q reinvigorated our passion and desire to continue supporting ELL students and their families.
