Amanda Ensor is a content expert and passionate educational leader with 20 years of experience in public education. She currently serves as a professional learning consultant and Family and Community Engagement Specialist with Scholastic Inc. In this role, she supports districts and schools throughout the nation with the implementation and enhancement of the best practices for family and community engagement. Previously, she served as the Title I Family Engagement Specialist in Queen Anne’s County Public Schools (QACPS). Additionally, in 2013, she was selected as the QACPS Maryland Teacher of the Year. Amanda is a featured presenter for state and national organizations including the Maryland State Department of Education, MELLFIN, MAEC, National Center for Families Learning, National Association of Family School and Community Engagement, and the National ESEA conference. Ultimately, her goal is to help school communities cultivate practices that improve home-school relationships and ensure support for all students to be successful.
